DIPLOMA IN ELEMENTARY EDUCATION (4yr B.A/B.Sc-B.Ed.)

The Diploma in Elementary Education (4yr B.A/B.Sc-B.Ed.) is a full-time, two-year diploma course divided into four semesters. COURSE DURATION:

The 4yr B.A/B.Sc-B.Ed. program is designed to span two academic years. However, students are allowed to complete the program within a maximum period of three years from the date of admission.

ELIGIBILITY:

Candidates who have obtained at least 50% marks in the higher secondary (+2) or its equivalent examination are eligible for admission. Reservation and relaxation in marks for SC/ST/OBC/PWD and other categories will be implemented in accordance with the regulations of the central government/state government, as applicable. The intake capacity for this program is 100 students.

ADMISSION PROCEDURE:

Admission will be based on merit, considering the marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or in the entrance examination, or any other selection process, in accordance with the policy of the state government/UT administration.

FEES:

The institution will only levy fees as prescribed by the affiliating body or state government, in accordance with the provisions of the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) (Guidelines for Regulation of Tuition Fees and Other Fees Chargeable by Unaided Teacher Education Institutions) Regulation, 2002, as amended periodically. Additionally, the institution will not impose donations, capitation fees, or similar charges on students.
